4 Steps To Your Mural Quote

Interested in a mural? Have you wondered where to start?

Inspiration: What made you excited about a mural in the first place? Is it large scale florals you’d like adorning your bedroom wall? Or maybe graphic shapes in an office space? Share the visuals that initially sparked the idea. This will help us get the ball rolling in the right direction. Pricing is based on image complexity and square footage, so these visuals help ensure the most accurate quote and satisfaction.

Wall Measurements: Wall measurements are the foundational piece of info for providing a quote. Exact measurements allow me to create an accurate design for the space that is to scale. Since all projects are customized to the client, a quote depends on your individual needs. I like to have an introduction call to find out what your project entails. We can always adjust the image complexity and square footage to find a solution that you are comfortable with.

Images of Location: Photos of the wall location should be a visual description of the wall and it’s location. What are the walls like? Are there any obstructions in front of the wall or things that need to be painted around? This will help determine if any special equipment is needed for the installation.

Deadline: I usually book 1-2 months out in advance for mural projects. Typically our turnaround for a mural from start to finish is four weeks. This allots about two weeks for design and revisions and two weeks for the installation. It’s helpful to have a goal deadline to ensure the highest quality final results.

P.S. Shout out to my client Local Love CHS for these behind the scenes of their mural creation process!
