Holiday Ornaments have arrived at Miller Gallery!

Handmade ornaments have always been my favorite.

There is something so magical about them. The textures, imperfections, and quirky personalities. It feels like unearthing a story as each on finds its home displayed on the tree.

When I pull my own collection out each year, I am brought back to being a little kid. I remember running around the church community center while my mom helped with the holiday craft fair. Strewn across the fair’s tables were hot chocolate, dried bean mixes, and ornaments galore. My family still has many ornaments preserved from this simpler time and I love the trip down memory lane that they provide.

This year my ornament treasures hold an even more special place in my heart as I prepare for my first holiday away my family. I’ve strung each ornament made by my mom and aunt on my own tree with care and love, knowing that we will be together again once it’s safe.

Each of these ornaments is uniquely hand painted and finished with velvet ribbon and luxe forest green velvet fabric on the back. They are $45 each and there are 12 designs available at Miller Gallery. I hope they bring you as much joy as they brought me creating them.
